Air leakage of vacuum coating equipment has a great impact on the equipment itself, so we should carry out timely maintenance.

1. The proportion of gas sealing performance in the vacuum chamber shall be tested to ensure that the gas tightness can meet the requirements.

2. Then check the size, shape and leakage speed of the vacuum coating leakage hole, and analyze the solution that can be implemented.

3. It should be recognized that the leakage of vacuum coating is a real leakage or a virtual leakage. Since certain gas will be generated to varying degrees after the workpiece data is heated, it is sometimes mistaken for the gas flowing in from the outside, which is a virtual leakage. We should rule out this situation.

4. Confirm the small leak detection rate and leak detection sensitivity of the detection instrument, detect gas leakage in a large range, prevent some leaks from being overlooked, and improve the accuracy of leak detection.

5. It is also necessary to prevent the vacuum coating leak from blocking. Sometimes, due to operation errors, some dust or liquid will block the leak during the vacuum coating leak detection, thinking that there is no leak at that location. However, when these obstructions improve due to the difference in internal and external pressure, the leak may not be blocked, but air leakage will still exist.

Vacuum coating is a physical deposition phenomenon. That is to say, argon is injected in a vacuum state, and the argon hits the target. The target is separated into molecules and absorbed by conductive goods to form a uniform and smooth surface layer. In order to meet the requirements of safer, more energy-saving, lower noise and reduce pollutant emissions, vacuum coating has become a new trend of environmental protection in surface treatment process. Different from ordinary coatings, vacuum coatings are more environmentally friendly. At the same time, vacuum coatings can produce a black effect with good glossiness that ordinary coatings cannot achieve.

Application characteristics of vacuum coating:

1. The metal film obtained by vacuum coating is very thin (generally 0.01~0.1um), which can strictly reproduce the shape of the surface of the beer piece.

2. The working voltage is not very high (200V), and the operation is convenient, but the equipment is expensive.

3. The volume of evaporation and plating pot is small, the number of coated parts is small, and the production efficiency is low.

4. It is limited to the plating of metals (such as aluminum, silver, copper, gold, etc.) with lower melting point than tungsten wire.

5. The surface quality of plated parts is required to be high, and primer is usually required to make up for surface defects of workpieces before coating.

6. Vacuum coating can be applied to various plastics such as ABS, PE, PP, PVC, PA, PC, PMMA, etc.
